What we hold, and what we do not
Selenic Orders has no online sign-ins. Each rep's sign-in is a name and PIN stored on the tablet itself, created by the business using the app. Selenic Systems holds no copy of it, and no copy of your catalogue, customers or orders.
What we do hold is your subscription: your business's name and contact email address, your licence key, and a random identifier and name for each tablet using it. To have it deleted when you stop using Selenic Orders, cancel your subscription and email [email protected] from the address you subscribed with. We delete what we do not need to keep for our accounts. Payment details are held by Stripe, not by us.
Deleting a rep's sign-in
An administrator can remove a user in the app under Settings › Admin Settings › Manage Users.
Deleting everything on a tablet
- In the app: Settings › Admin › Reset Data clears products, orders, or everything the app stores on that tablet.
- On Android: uninstalling the app removes all of its data from the device.
Neither touches files already sent to your own sync folder, FTP/SFTP server or Google Drive, or anything in your ERP. Those belong to your business and are deleted there.
Google Drive access
If the app was connected to a Google account, sign out in the app, and remove its access at any time from your Google Account under Security › Your connections to third-party apps & services.
Crash reports
Crash reports carry no customer, product or order data and are kept for 90 days. To stop them, turn off Send crash reports in Settings › Business Rules. To ask for reports already sent from your tablets to be deleted sooner, email [email protected].
The full detail is in the Selenic Orders Privacy Policy.
